FT-757 connected to PC

Postby ZS6EFN » Wed Mar 25, 2015 4:48 am

Hi,

I bought an FT-757GX in good condition and want to connect the transceiver to my laptop. Now I've read a whole lot of articles but still don't have a clear picture of connecting my PC (USB port) to the 3 pin molex connector on the back of the FT-757GX. Can someone perhaps assist with a pin layout (Molex 3-pin to USB).

Help will be much appreciated.

You can connect the 757 to a computer but you will need an interface FIF232c to connect to.
Once you have that interface, just plug in the correct cable to the back of the 757 with the 3 prong molex plug.
You will need a program to access the CAT commands for the rig.

If you have any questions please look me up on QRZ.. N3BPM
