FT-530 Question

Postby WZD1A » Thu May 02, 2013 12:12 am

I fat fingered an incorrect memory on my FT-530. I have the manual, but have not been able to find out how to delete the single memory that I no longer want. I do not want to over write it - i want it gone. I do not want to reset the radio - I want to keep all the settings and other memory(s) as I have them set currently.

The manual indicates how to reset the radio, how to overwrite an incorrectly stored memory, how to mask and skip the memory,

but not how to delete a single memory. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

WZD1a

Hi WZD1A I`m Jürgen, DJ1VL and very new in this forum. I posted also a question just some minutes ago.
Due to your problem, have a look on page 31 in the manual. I think the only way is to overwrite the not
wanted memory, may be it helps your problem, I hope so.
My question to you:
Did you ever use the rubber keys to connect you to another Echolink station via DTMF-Call ( node number ) ??
I failed until now, I dont know whether the keys send out the wanted lf freq.signal, perhaps you can help me.
My best regards, Jürgen DJ1VL
