Yaesu FIF-232c van

Postby ei4dp » Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:47 pm

Hello all,
I purchased the above to use with my 757GX, expecting the unit to be a FIF-232c. However, the above unit is larger, has a mains psu built in , and a knob on the front panel that selects ptt1/ptt2/cat1/2/NC. The unit also has a row of red leds visible through the front panel to indicate power/rxd/txd/cat1/cat2/tnc and ptt.The back panel has a db25 serial connector marked TNC, a flying lead with a male db25 marked MCU and two female DIN connectors marked CAT1 and CAT2.
Can anyone give me more info re the above unit, and the difference between the FIF-232c and the FIF232c van? I also would really appreciate a copy of a manual and circuit diagram for the above and any tips re software to control the 757GX. I have scoured the internet and have only come up with a few pictures.
